• GSTR iPhone App

    Our client, Great Southern Touring Route, required an iPhone and iPad app to target the international travel trade. With this project we took the best of the Great Ocean Road, Grampians and Ballarat Goldfield regions along with detailed destination information and embedded video on over 60 travel products and put them into an easy-to-use iPhone and iPad app. We believe the final product speaks for itself.

  • LAND 400

    In early 2014 GSDM worked closely with Enterprise Geelong to develop the LAND 400 Proposal which will assist in Geelong’s lobbying campaign to secure this significant project. LAND 400 is a $20 billion program to be conducted between 2014-2034 to provide the Australian Defence Force with a world class armoured fighting vehicle capability. GSDM is proud to be involved in a project that has the capacity to consolidate Geelong's transformation into a global, high technology, design, engineering and manufacturing city.
  • Great Ocean Road Travel Planner

    GSDM was appointed by Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism Ltd to develop the new Great Ocean Road Travel Planner. The brief was to highlight the stories, characters and champions that bring the regions product and experiences to life. Build a greater awareness of the breadth and depth of product within the region, and balance showcasing the icons, whilst uncovering the hidden secrets. We broke the mould with this publication!
  • BEV Planners Guide 2015/16

    GSDM has worked closely with Business Events Victoria since 2011. In 2015 we produced the Regional Victoria Planners Guide 2015-2016. The project was extremely successful with record levels of industry buy-in and a dynamic new style. The cover is finished with embossed regional name elements that are treated with spot UV varnish creating a communication piece that is unique, different and memorable.

  • Experience Culture Victoria

    Cultural Tourism Victoria and GSDM have worked in partnership since 2011. In 2015 Cultural Tourism Victoria has undergone significant changes as an organisation. This change presented a fantastic opportunity to refresh the visual presentation and capture the colour, personality and passion of Victoria's arts and cultural sector. We rebranded the guide to Experience Culture Victoria and introduced an elegant new design. Printed on environmentally friendly uncoated stock, we've created a striking new publication.

Great Ocean Road OVG

GSDM was appointed by the recently established Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism Limited to undertake their first initiative, development of the new Great Ocean Road Official Visitor Guide.

The new Great Ocean Road Official Visitor Guide replaces the existing Surf Coast & Otways Visitor Guide and the 12 Apostles & Surrounds Visitor Guide. This new guide allows visitors to seemlessly experience the Great Ocean Road region from Torquay through to the Bay of Islands including the many experiences ‘on and off the coast'.

The project brief was to produce an Official Visitor Guide (OVG) for the area covering Torquay to the Bay of Islands in print and digital formats. The project included a sales program to sell advertising space, all new copy, design, development of dynamic video content delivered through Layar and production including print and digital formats.

To cater for the expected increase in demand we have increased the print run from 80,000 to 120,000 copies. The largest print run of any visitor guide in the Great Ocean Road region!

The Great Ocean Road Official Visitor Guide was printed in Australia, unlike many other OVG's. A fact that we at GSDM are extremely proud of!
